Reflection Week 2

We learn about video editing software. We were required to come up with a topic and produce a video on that topic. There are several video editing software that have been invented such as Windows Live Movie Maker, Windows Movie Maker, Final Cut and Sony Vegas. Since Final Cut and Sony Vegas has to be bought, we decided to use Windows Live Movie Maker.

Reflection Week 1

To start the engine for this course, our lecturer, Mr. Norsarihan Ahmad, introduced us to the course's guidelines for the upcoming weeks. He gave us a brief prologue for this course and this course was actually the sequel from our previous course GE1155 Computer in Education last semester. We learnt a bit about web 2.0 and how did it evolve from web 1.0. There are numbers of web 2.0 that can be used for academic purposes and also social purposes. For intance, Facebook, Wordpress, Twitter and even Blogspot itself. These are only some of the examples of web 2.0 and there are a lot more on the internet.

These applications/ facilities provide a wide range of functions. Taking Facebook for an example, it can be a socialization agent and also a discussion/ learning center for the users. Facebook  provides the users by creating a group or an organization. Discussion may take place in the group about almost anything, academically and non-academically. Through discussion, it will lead to the process of learning. 

For the task given this week, we have to come up with a blog and link a podcast to it. This would be my first podcast for this blog.
